Watch NBA Games: Streaming

You can watch NBA regular season national games on ESPN, ABC, TNT and NBA TV. TNT usually airs games on Tuesday and Thursday nights, while ESPN airs games on Wednesday and Friday nights.

Beginning this month, ABC began showing NBA games on select Saturdays and Sundays.

If you already have a cable provider with access to ESPN, ABC or TNT, you can stream NBA content from each channel through their respective apps by logging in with your credentials.

Note. ESPN Plus subscription does not include ESPN game broadcasts. For anyone not on network television, NBA League Pass is a must-see.

You can purchase a monthly or annual subscription to watch all NBA games live outside of your local market, and you can go back and watch shortened replays.

NBA League Pass includes NBA TV, which broadcasts selected games only through local affiliates.

If you don’t have a cable or satellite subscription, you can sign up for one of the streaming services below. The list of streaming services that offer access to all four sources of NBA game broadcasts is limited, but we highlight the best options.

Streaming Options:

YouTube TV:

Offers ABC, ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV for $65 per month, providing full access to all major broadcast and cable networks showing NBA games.

New subscribers can get the first three months for a discounted rate of $53 per month for a limited time.

Sling TV:

Includes ESPN and TNT in its Orange plan for $40 per month. It doesn’t offer ABC, but NBA games broadcast on that network are usually simulcast on ESPN2 and ESPN3, included in Sling.

You can also add NBA TV to your plan through the Sports Extra package for $11 per month, totaling $46 per month.

Fubo TV:

The most expensive service on this list, without TNT in the base Pro package ($74.99 monthly, before potential discounts). However, it includes ABC and ESPN/ESPN2. The Fubo Extra, an $8 add-on, includes NBA TV.

Fubo Extra is included in the Fubo Elite package, which costs $84.99 and adds dozens of other channels. You can also add the NBA League Pass for an additional $14.99, ensuring access to all games outside your local market.

Hulu + Live TV:

Offers ABC, ESPN/ESPN2, and TNT for a monthly subscription of $77. This option doesn’t support the League Pass and NBA TV add-ons, but it’s an excellent overall choice for sports fans as it includes on-demand content from Hulu, ESPN Plus, and Disney Plus in one package, with over 90 total live channels.

Live Streaming Strategies

TNT, ESPN, ABC and NBA TV are the national broadcast partners of the NBA, but they only show a few games during the season. If you want to keep up with new games, subscribe to NBA League Pass to stream regular season games outside of your local market across the league.

League Pass starts at $15 per month or $99 for the entire season; for that price, you can stream NBA TV and watch games every night with commercials.

You can choose NBA League Pass Premium for $20 per month or $130 per year. This plan offers free viewing and lets you watch on two devices at the same time. NBA League Pass subscription prices drop throughout the year, but of course you’ll miss some early season games.

Unlock the Flexibility to Watch NBA Games Anywhere Using a VPN

The NBA does not offer pure streaming solutions in all countries to watch every game this season. If you live in a place that doesn’t offer NBA League Pass, consider getting a VPN.

Short for Virtual Private Network, VPN allows websites to see your device as if it is connecting from the desired country.

That means you can set it to connect through a US server to access live TV streaming services like Sling or sign up for NBA League Pass.
